The purpose of this Web site is to provide an in-depth understanding of dark matter cosmology, also known as postmodern cosmology. This understanding is based on the concept that dark matter is probably the power engine of the universe.and has strong relationships with the big bang, the accelerating expansion of the universe, cosmic rays, cosmic inflation, and the cosmic web. To convince the world (and ourselves) that this is indeed true we need an enormous amount of evidence to match the enormity of the claims.
News is not the principal source of the evidence, but could provide clues to locate new evidence, to support shaky evidence, to trigger new ideas in a fertile mind, to obtain financial support for the best approaches or to deny financing to the worst approaches. These are the reasons this news section is in this scientific Web site.
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 17, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — The Astro2010 Survey Committee report, “New Worlds, New Horizons in Astronomy and Astrophysics,” was released by the National Academies in Washington, D.C., on Friday, August 13. The report recommended priorities for the most important scientific and technical activities for astronomy and astrophysics over the next 10 [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 4, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — Astronomers studying the tiny Milky Way satellite galaxy Segue 1 have concluded it has the highest measured dark matter density of any known galaxy. Therefore, it should be a prime testing ground for dark matter physics and galaxy formation on small scales. Their July 27 online [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., July 14, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — Oxford University researchers have discovered a plausible form of dark matter that is a solution to what is called the “solar composition problem.” Surprisingly, it is compatible with Jerome Drexler’s relativistic-baryon dark matter announced in 2003. The observed rapid heat flow from the center of the [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., July 8, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — Albert Einstein once said, “To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science.” These three approaches also were used in the four-book cosmology series discussed here.
Jerome Drexler’s four-book postmodern-dark-matter-cosmology course for astronomers, [...]
SILICON VALLEY, June 22, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — A new book by Richard Panek entitled, “The 4-Percent Universe,” marketed on Amazon.com, explains the significance of discovering the true nature of “dark energy” and its role in the accelerating expansion of the universe, as follows (quoted from Amazon.com):
“Over the past few decades, a handful of scientists [...]
SILICON VALLEY, June 8, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — Professor Adi Nusser of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and Princeton University’s Professor P.J.E. Peebles published an article together in the June 3 issue of the journal Nature entitled, “Nearby galaxies as pointers to a better theory of cosmic evolution.” The Nature editor’s summary of this article [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., June 1, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — Bell Labs-trained applied physicist and astro-cosmologist Jerome Drexler claims he has solved about 25 mysteries in astrophysics or cosmology as described in his two scientific papers and in his four books published between 2003 and 2009. He claims to have identified the dark matter of the [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., May 11, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — Earlier this month, three different research collaborations, seeking to discover the nature of dark matter in deep mines, aggressively questioned each other’s research results. Adding to the confusion, the vast majority of astrophysicists believe that cosmic-ray-based particles are a principal source of background noise in such [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., April 27, 2010 (AScribe Newswire) — The international conference Ultraviolet Universe 2010 (2nd NUVA Symposium; http://www.ucm.es/info/nuva/) will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, May 31 – June 4, 2010. The conference is organized by the Institute of Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences (http://www.inasan.ru/) and the Main Astronomical Observatory of the [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., April 14 (AScribe Newswire) — Jerome Drexler, the Bell Labs trained scientist who discovered relativistic-baryon dark matter, claims that the use of his dark matter cosmology, described in his new book, “Our Universe via Drexler Dark Matter,” helps simplify the universe as Nicolaus Copernicus’ book simplified the solar system in 1543.
Drexler’s latest [...]
LOS ALTOS HILLS, Calif., April 5 (AScribe Newswire) — A study of news items under Google News “dark matter” and “dark energy” presents the current status of both of these phenomena as the principal mysteries of the cosmos. However, this is no longer true as this newswire and Jerome Drexler’s new paperback book attest.
Also, beginning [...]
SILICON VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 16, 2009 (AScribe Newswire) — The 75-year mystery of the precise nature of dark matter of the universe has been solved by Bell Labs-trained scientist Jerome Drexler. It took him seven years of intensive cosmological research to discover and then confirm the identity of dark matter by means of a series [...]
